    And to think all you had to do was search/peruse the other XDA (main Ford SYNC) thread and you would see a number of posts explaining that changing the "5553" code to "5753" (enabling "navigation in motion") has the consequence of removing all Sirius navigation goodies.

    In ForScan go to the IPC module, under 720-01-01, change E5C0-29BE-24D9 to E5C2-29BE-24DB. That will change "compass" to "Navigation" in the right hand cluster/display next to the steering wheel.

    Yup. You're screen is pooched. You can try and find a 3rd party screen replacement overseas, but your best bet is to send it back to the states and see if you can get it repaired or replaced under warranty.

    This happened to me as well. When you're on 1.2 or above, the phyical internal partition (the 8gb drive) is altered. Therefore going to 1.0.1 doesn't recognize the partition created in the higher firmware. Upgrading to 1.2 or 1.3 will get the 1gb partition/available space back.
