I was at Target last night and they had a non-functional display unit there, so I'm guessing they'd also have stock there. I'm in the bay area, north cal, too. Can't wait until I can upgrade!

I'd say the front face plate housing looks the same. It's just the middle part and back cover that's different? Care to keep us posted if you do decide to try it? I'm actually interested in doing this too. Thanks.

Thanks for your work. I like how clean and speedy it is. I tried out the clean version today but I noticed a few things wrong in the keyboard when it is set to large keys. The "l" key does not work and instead inputs an "i" instead. Also, holding down on the keys for "." and """ does not...

I think you can change that animation with Advance Configuration Tool (xda-developers forum thread/cab download site). I am using the TESS Pride III rom and it is already installed in there. Maybe I am wrong. I don't know. I'm pretty new to Windows Mobile too.
