Because for Carbon and other AOSP the 4ext recovery is recommended. Also it has more features than TWRP... CM11 KitKat 4.4.4 works so far, but why all other 4.4.x Roms hang on bootscreen? This can't be the fault of Recovery.

Yes, as i said: latest 4ext 1.0.0.6 RC2 & hboot 1.27 ENG S-Off 4.3 Roms working, only any 4.4 ROM stuck after flashing rom and/or gapps in splash screen

On my HTC DesireHD it was easy to replace it via ADB, so where its the problem on galaxy tab 2? It think it its on boot partition but which resolution, type, name (think somewhat with espresso)
