Ok, So after an interesting and sometimes frustrating night of downloading and flashing, my phone is rooted and now is android 4.4.2 with a build of KOT49H.G900VVRU1ANCG. I guess the next step is finding and installing safestrap? (Final goal would be to flash a non verizon rom with no bloatware...
