But you can't install anything other than stock with a locked bootloader so... Please explain how I can get root on this phone and still be able to use it as ...a phone. From what I understand it's currently simply not possible, and doubtful if it will ever happen in fact. How are those comments...

Yes, but again, the cool thing here is that S-Note exists on both Windows AND Android. When you open S-Note on Android, and have all your notes in folders, etc.. the exact same layout and folders appear on the Windows version of S-Note. ( On my tablet pc, and my Desktop. ) VERY FRIGGING HANDY...

Wow. No one? I guess Samsung changed too much of the framework from note 2, to Note 3.

Wouldn't be such a dealbreaker if I could get an updated Windows 8 S-Note.. but that's not likely to happen knowing Samsung. :eek:

Hey all.. has anyone managed to shoehorn S-Note from the Note 2 onto the Note 3? I say this, because I use S-Note on my Windows Desktop, my Windows Ativ Tablet, and I had used it on my Note 2. Now that I have the Note 3, the new S-Note 2014 edition isn't cross compatible. It will read notes...

Wow! This does in fact work.. without rebooting. That last step of deleting / moving dwm.exe not necessary. I used process explorer to: open cmd.exe kill explorer.exe SUSPEND winlogon.exe kill dwm.exe in cmd: run flash.exe when done: unsuspend winlogon.exe - everything returns to normal. Now...
