I was getting the YouTube issue on every video, but clearing the phone's cache (fastboot erase cache) seems to have solved it.

Just got off the phone with Google Play support. They had me run through a few tests (boot to fastboot, go into recovery, try booting from there; boot to fastboot, go into recovery, factory reset, reboot). Same thing: stuck on the "x" screen. I mentioned I wasn't rooted, but they didn't ask...

Multitouch in Ubuntu Depends on your mouse and version of Ubuntu. Are you using a multitouch trackpad like the Magic Trackpad? I've written some sweet mutlitouch gestures for it (and other multitouch trackpads) including three-finger back/forward. It should work in 10.10 and 11.04. Let me know...

I was going to offer to throw it on the market for you, but I'm pretty sure you can't with AppInventor apps (I'm not sure, I'll look into it). I know you at least didn't used to be able to, but things may have changed.
