Wasn't aware that the exploit could extend beyond MMS. Can you point me to references for this? I have not heard of anything (even demo code) which resulted in a useful exploit in LP, and/or a way of getting this on a device except via MMS. Thanks.

LG supports google accounts, Exchange(ActiveSync) accounts, and "other" (pop3, imap, etc) in the ZVG ROM. I believe AOSP Mail supports all of those types as well as some other weird ones.

I (again) tried using his kernel and had the same experience as before; it was great for a day, and after that it just became increasingly unresponsive--even when I selected the performance profiles. I'd be curious to know how you are configuring his kernel such that it continues to work...

I would also make sure you have it installed as a system app, as some of the functionality for blocking the pulldown notifications seems tied (at least on my ROM) to giving C Locker that status; when I don't have it as a root app I'm not able to completely block the phone from using pulldown...
