I have a FireTV stick with original Firmware from back in 2015. It is guess it is 54.1.0.? AFTV states there is no way to root. Is there an exploit, which might work, and has not been tried yet? Or do I miss the obvious, where I could manually upgrade to a rootable version? Which way should I try?

I have a similar Problem. I think this is caused by an incompatible (old) bootloader. I still use stock Android 4.4.2. When reading about how to install Phronesis I also stumble upon "update to 5.x first" to get a current bootloader. Unluckily I'm not sure howto update the bootloader manually...

I experience the same problem with myz4 Tablet. I don't have the comparison to a Z2 or Z-Tablet. But from time to time touching the tablet is not recognized. This is not limited to edges of he screen but also happened to me for buttons in the middle of the screen.
