When you make the gold card ( i used a sansa 2gb no matter what has been said about sansa not working) not only do you have to follow the directions to the letter, the last section says something to the effect of putting it back into your card adapter and verify you can open it up, and that it shows up as a removable disk on your pc, just as it would right out of the box. If it doesn't allow you to open it, it isn't right. Also, be very meticulous when cutting and pasting the 17 hex lines onto the card that the zip file that gets emailed to you contains. And before getting the zip file, be sure to follow the instructions carefully about the first two zeros, ya da ya da......
