Rebooting has never fixed any issues for me, whether it is this issue or regaining touch/keyboard in APKs. I guess I will just need to reset at this point, but not happy about it as it means it can just happen again.

What do you mean by manually installed it? How is that different?

It installed just fine, success message and all.

It successfully installed for me, but I still have no touch interactivity nor keyboard for android apps. Non android functionality is all working as expected. Do I need the phone setup in a root mode or something? Any ideas?!? Resetting the phone is not a viable option as it happens eventually...

What do you mean by "tightening"? How do you do that?

So how is it holding up? Looks alot like the Acer A500 case. After a couple of days it stretched out just enough that the tablet would slip down so the bottom of the screen got covered as wel as the camera.

Can someone upload a copy of the non-sensitive portions of their build.prop file in the system folder? I am trying to compare file differencs between the normal Flyer Gingerbread and the HC ROMs so that I can attempt to get US region setup. Thanks in advance. Ceger

My biggest issue is the inability to set the tablet for US region. It is UK instead. Ceger

Not bad, but my favorite market is 3.1.5 for the HC tablet like layout. 3.1.6 does not having a working search button, so I don't use it. Ceger
