[/COLOR] I just got the latest working (3.1) I installed adfree and i was able to successfully apply the host file and then I installed Adaway and i was able to successfully install the host file with ease :)

I've tried using 3.1 , 3.0.1 , 2.9.2 the defaults there is no error message. it just crashes the phone after 2-3 seconds into "applying host files" I've also tried using an explorer to change the permissions of the host file and still no luck :(

When I tried flashing with clockwork recovery it says this device is HTC_a5dug which is weird because I have the a5chl and then aborts so I can't flash it at all. Then when I flash with twrp which it does successfully my mobile network doesn't work showing sprint network.
