interesting that it was MMB30K that google pushed back to the phone during the unenroll process, even though mine is a UK carrier-free phone.

yes it's all sorted now. flashed MMB30K and it's back on 6.0.1 now. dunno why the OTA downgrade failed.

i just wasn't sure if different versions of the device got different builds. ie US vs european etc etc

so not MMB30K then? which is what seems to have been sent to the device during the OTA downgrade?

yes, but as i mentioned earlier which of the many 6.0.1 images is the one i need to use? this is UK sim-free 32Gb Nexus 6

no, it was 100% stock. never rooted.

so i unenrolled Nexux 6 from Nougat beta, to go back to 6.0.1 it received it updated, downloaded the file, applied it, then i got the dead android logo. error appears to be "Error in @/cache/recovery/block.map (status 7)" so what can i do now? i'm not sure which of the many 6.0.1 factory...

OK i have a samsung galaxy tab 4 (8" version). for whatever reason it won't show up in android device manager, even though the device shows up everywhere else. it shows up in play store device list, it shows up in google account devices (with a recent date/time). in google settings > security...

what did this post of yours just now contribute to the thread? maybe try keeping the thread on topic by only posting about the topic, rather than trying continue your own little personal agenda. i can't see you doing anything for the "greater whole". i can only see you doing something to boot...
