I can't get the backups working properly. Always get a 255 error. Tried following multiple guides about deleting 999 users and Guest Users but still does the same thing.

Totally agree. Been running Quartz 3 for a few days now. Works great. Still auto brightness problem that was in Quartz 2. Pop up camera problem seems to have been fixed. Battery life might be slightly better as well.

Ok, I've used the payload dumper and installed the .img files. Seems to work great. I don't suppose anyone has a patched boot.img file? The one given for quartz_2.img doesn't work. Or could someone point me in the right direction to be able to create my own patched boot.img? Thanks

The Quartz 3 zip does not contain the same .img files as the in the original post for Quartz 2. It contains one large payload.bin file and a few others. So it looks like a completely different install procedure is needed.

The OTA utility still does not show Quartz 3 for me. How do I install Quartz 3 on top of Quartz 2 using the zip file? Is there an option to completely wipe user data during the install? I would like to start from a new clean version of Quartz 3. Thanks

Yes, they have fixed it. No need to do any of the extra steps in my original post. The latest version just seems to work. At least in my experience anyway.

After rooting it have you done anything like force 90Hz? I know Kodi has problems with 90Hz and you have to allow your phone at 60Hz when it wants to otherwise you just get a black screen when you open it. Haven't tried Netflix so not sure, but I would expect it tries to switch the refresh...

That option does not exist on this rom. It doesn't matter anyway. I've worked out a way round it as stated above.
