I bought a SM-G955UZKAXAA Unlocked US S8+ from Samsung.com and would rather just leave all the firmwares alone but after reading this post saying T-Mobile works fine but also reading tweets like this from T-Mobiles CTO I dunno who to believe...

I have S-OFF US Unlocked on 1.80.617.1 and was wondering if I could use 1.81.531.1 and maybe get better signal/Band 12 performance since I'm on T-Mobile is this possible?

This is like another cryptic post . If you installed Viper 2.0.0 CLEAN FLASH FULL WIPE with 1.80 FIRMWARE and choose US UNLOCKED in Aroma installer and you see Enhanced Call Services in Call Settings people literally are getting a result I can't seem to duplicate and I don't freaking...

Just wanna let you know that this did actually work and I wasn't flashing it properly. I only needed the MNSprop files not the ACC US Unlocked in Aroma installer without these files doesn't show these options like it did on previous Vipers and WiFi calling / VoLTE work...

Sorry for being doubtful but judging by the settings in the screenshot and the T-Mobile 4G LTE icon you choose T-Mobile in Aroma and not US Unlocked. I saw these same options on my phone when I choose T-Mobile carrier option in Aroma but VoLTE still didn't work did you try sitting on a call and...

They're probably still showing in phone settings because you didn't clean flash and the XML didn't update. WiFi calling isn't my issue VoLTE is.

If you flashed 1.80 and Viper 2.0.0 and selected US Unlocked in the carrier selection in Aroma; VoLTE and WiFi Calling are removed from Call Settings and VoLTE won't work at least in Band12 only areas. LTE Data will connect and the phone will say 4G LTE but calls will not dial out like on...
