I have have encountered a wierd bug. I'm on the latest version. When I set a timer as soon as it goes off my phone reboots and the hangs. I have to hold the power button and force another reboot. Then when it comes back on it continues with the timer alert.

I currently have a rooted GT N7100 running a custom 4.4.2 ROM. Is there anything that I need to do in order to flash this ROM concerning the bootloader?

I have a question. Has anyone here used SquareTrade? I bought the insurance through them when I got the phone. It was an extended warranty and accidental damage replacement. I was going to replace the battery myself but by the time I get the battery and the tools it would be about $75 total...

Mine has in the past days started randomly rebooting. When it does do it the weird thing is that it doesn't go back to the warning screen for device can't be checked or the splash screen. It goes straight to the boot animation and hangs there with the G on the screen. So it never fully goes...

Are you still getting the reboots? Mine has rebooted 3 times in 20 minutes. It did it while on Twitter all 3 times. I did install a new game today. I removed it hoping that was it. Been running this ROM for a week with no problems. This is the first day with any problems.

I looked under the installation instructions and have a question. Is it still required to revert to stock and take the Oreo update, then root and flash this? Or can I clean flash straight from Nougat?

Thanks for the reply. This is probably the one I will get as well. Many good reviews on it. I don't mind paying more and know that I will get what I want. I have read many posts about knock off batteries not working right and showing charge to full capacity. I don't know what the issue is there...

All the batteries I looked at were around $12 which seems cheap to me. Worried about getting a bad one. I don't want to have to open this thing up but once. If you don't mind how much was yours and where did you purchase it?

I have a question. I downloaded the latest update and installed it through the updater. When it rebooted it automatically encrypted my phone. I haven't done this since I purchased the device a year ago. Was this supposed to happen? I am scared to try and flash anything else now.

Sorry to ask a simple question but there are 2 extra files on download page. Bootloader.img and radio.img I haven't noticed these in any other build. Is it necessary to flash the bootloader and radio?
