maybe we can get some real mods for this device now. different roms and what not. ;) just ran the unlock and it worked like a charm

can i ask why this tool now? we have been able to install xbmc for a long time via the FTV utility app and fireadb. Both install xbmc and then some. this tool seems very unnecessary. with that said thank you

so this essentially allows apps to be installed directly onto an external without using apps to foldermount :good:

the one i got a month ago from amazon was on the old fw and the one i got today was as well. it will be that way until sell em all and start manufacturing new ones maybe idk ;)

its exactly like i said. id put the zip onto my flash drive and it would not recognize it had an update zip or anything for that matter on the flash drive. like it was blank. ive been flashing since the lg optimus v in 2011. modded many devices so ik what im doing as far as flashing roms and...

not in my brick case.read the usb but didnt recognize the update zip at all. none of them. i downloaded ever version and tried it. no success.

nice job :) i thought before summer ended we would have a recovery. i cant wait for a ROM for the FTV . fingers crossed. also can i use firmware version 51.1.0.1 instead of 51.1.0.2? id rather not "update" if it isn't necessary and im guessing the difference between the two makes no difference...
