Turns out, I believe the first time I flashed 4.0, I chose Apex in Aroma and didn't have the stock launcher checkboxed, so that's probably why it was failing for me. This time round, I just installed the new launcher, working flawlessly.

Warning to users of this rom: don't try to switch to the JB4.2 Launcher in the settings under "Launchers". This boot-looped my device, and I'm in the process of getting it fixed. By the way, this rom (before it screwed up) is the BOMB! It's so fast it's sick.

I think I posted something about this a couple messages back, but I wiped cache and dalvik, flashed the v2.0 update, and wiped again, then rebooted. So no, didn't have a nandroid backup to restore to. I wasn't able to find v1.0 or 2.0 full roms in the OP. If I could find those, I'd wipe...

It didn't remove the stock messaging app, it just wasn't capable of pulling in any messages in any app I tried. I'm back on Ice Ice Baby, after failing to restore back to 2.0 via flash...

My phone isn't receiving texts...I've tested with many of my friends' phones, and it won't receive anything...though it can send I believe, at least one of my friends received one of my texts. I've tried rebooting my phone. I've also tried 3rd party messaging apps...no luck. Anyone else...

I don't see an option to download Superuser from Rom Manager. Where is it? Would uninstalling and reinstalling the Superuser app on my phone from the Play Store have the same effect?

Can I jump straight from 1.2 to 3.0 without flashing 2.0? My update installation also failed : /

Yeah, I figured this out a while ago, but I appreciate your help! It was the radios, in fact, just had to flash the new ics ones.

Nah I agree, this isn't the place to discuss it. It's not that bad really, I think it looks cool. All your work is appreciated more than you know or what people say. Thanks buddy.

While admittedly interesting and dark, it's not my choice for a default theme; I agree that's it's slightly disorienting at times. Though maybe welcoming wasn't what they were going for when they decided on it.

Thanks Jacob, gonna give this one a try. I'll report back with any findings I get. Thanks for your work! EDIT: Upon first boot, before any setup was offered, it said it couldn't detect what country I was in. It was in the phone app/process, and was trying to get something about a country code...
