Post Looking to buy N10 POGO Cable

Good luck. I actually contacted some cable manufacturers in China a while back interested in a group buy type thing but they informed me it would be around $15k USD just for tooling alone and then there would be a minimum order of a couple thousand units.

Post Can not enter download mode

Yes he did the same for me and flashed "modified" AS998 firmware and my battery life is absolutely insane now. I got over 7h screen on time with 10% battery remaining yesterday. Very pleased.

Post [Guide] Getting H933/Any? Modem to work on a converted US998/H930.

Join the telegram group for this phone its posted somewhere here or in one of the related threads if you can find it.... Some people are making good progress. Pixel experience is actually the reason I got into this whole jam too. I love it on my S7 but the battery on that phone sucks ass.

Post How to fix bricked phone? No download mode, only 9008 mode

Well what he did was octobox flash it to 998 from Qualcomm mode with a blank chip (that I ****ed up and erased lol) then used LGUP to put AS998 (from a V30+?) so yeah I think I would be safe to just lgup the regular 998 firmware and from there it would be easy to root and put whatever I want. So...

Post How to fix bricked phone? No download mode, only 9008 mode

This is what I ended up doing. He flashed my phone over to a 998 with his octobox because he didnt have 933 file or something. So now I'm running AS998 firmware on March security update (blah)

    Post [ROM][9.0][of V30(Joan)-h930, h932] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r10][2018/12/27]

I run it on my S7 and its awesome with a very few minor things like sometimes random notification buzz for no reason (maybe twice per day) and the front "buttons" are always active and will give haptic feedback whenever touched even if the screen is off but I don't think that would apply to this...

    Post [ROM][9.0][of V30(Joan)-h930, h932] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r10][2018/12/27]

OK. Can it be flashed to 933 converted to 998 though?

Post [ROM/FW][STOCK]LG Joan H933 OPEN CANADA 20i TWRP flashable firmware (incl. ROM)

Haha yeah I know for sure my erase chip is what fully bricked it but I want to know how I ended up in a way that I could no longer use dl partition to revert back to my original 933.kdz. And I have been meaning to put down step by step in one single write up all the things required to go from...

Post [ROM/FW][STOCK]LG Joan H933 OPEN CANADA 20i TWRP flashable firmware (incl. ROM)

I didn't try to flash this over a 999 or even a converted 933 to 998 directly. I did the Frankenstein method to convert my 993 to 998 then I flashed back to the 933 kdz in 2 parts (first all but recovery via partition dl, then installed the no verity, the encryption one, and magisk, then flashed...

Post TWRP cannot mount vendor partition so I can't back up?

Actually I forgot to mention the part where I skipped the vendor partition step of that walkthrough because another user specifically mentioned that it isn't necessary. This is why I'm so confused as to why this happened.

Post TWRP cannot mount vendor partition so I can't back up?

Yeah I have no ****ing clue what happened man. I followed that whole thing and flashed pixel experience but it ended up not fully working so I tried a couple different kernels which also didn't work. Then I reflashed to stock kdz using LGUP and repeated the whole process but left it with just...

Post Failed to mount /vendor (invalid argument)

Does the 933 need a vendor partition then? Is that how i royally ****ed myself?

Post Failed to mount /vendor (invalid argument)

I don't know why I need or don't need one. All I was trying to do was flash a slightly modified stock firmware through TWRP and that's the error it gave.

Post Unbrick all lg model no download,no recovery,no fastboot,no sign of life

I have a LG v30 h933 and it's current hard bricked 9008 mode. When I connect to my pc it comes up as qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008.... Do I need to open it and short the test points still or am I able to repair phone in this state through USB?

Post Failed to mount /vendor (invalid argument)

I followed that thread exactly and got the same issue. Then when I tried to flash back to stock kdz it kept timing out then completely bricked the phone so RIP.
