First of all, thank you very much for your interest on DSLT1, its rooting, development... If I wouldn't have read your posts about recovery images, I wouldn't have bought a N21 (still waiting for it).
Are you going to create a new group on this forum for DSLT1/X2/N21?. I Would be interested in joining it to be in contact with other owners.
I don't have too much time to research on this, but if I could help you with linux compilation or system related issues, I'll try to. I have limited knowledge on those matters because I was running Gentoo for some years and linux for almost 16yrs.
