    Flashed McDV build 28 over cm build 28 without wiping the data and I think I've lost root. When I run 'su' in term it gives me the permission denied error. Wiped cache but that did not solve the problem. Any fix without wiping the data?

    Create an ext partition and follow the steps in the apps2ext guide. Make sure you set to internal in cm application settings, otherwise the apps will be installed to the vfat partition. Same applies with the stock application settings. Sent from my HTC Dream using Tapatalk

    If your device is rooted you should be able to browse to and deleted the bootanimation.zip with a root explorer such as sufbs. It will not appear in programs such as astro file manager. Its compulsory to delete the bootanimation.zip or you will keep getting that error. Sent from my HTC Dream...

    I applied the apps2ext fix. How can I check if my apps are being installed on the ext partition, which I created in amon_ra 1.7.0, or the vfat partition? Sent from my HTC Dream using Tapatalk
