I would be delighted to give you a concise summary of the discussion so far so that you don't have to read it all. Op : looking for opinions on nexus 10 vs infinity Poster a: I had both. Like nexus 10 more. Pierrekid : you are an idiot! Infinity is best! Poster b: I had both. Like nexus 10...

Hah, all my problems with the Infinity are solved! I've been lying all along! Good to know! You should probably go and let everyone else on XDA know that they are liars if they had trouble with the Infinity so that you can set their minds at ease and solve all their woes too!

I think every device has shortcomings. You have to weigh what's most important to you. I had to chose between a separating screen (on the Infinity. build problems fixed? hardly), lousy wifi signal strength (with the prime), the inability to use core apps due to incessant crashing (both devices)...

Well that's good at least :) Still would be nice to see you acknowledge the right for others to have a different opinion/experience than you! And oh, I can use my email app on the Nexus 10. So that makes it way more usable for me than the Primes/Infinities ever were, even after only a week, lol.

So you think someone who has the tablet for a day or two, does a review and then puts it away forever has a more clear picture of a tablet's actual usability in real life than someone who struggled with the primes/infinities for months and then finally had to give them up because they didn't...

I no longer have an Infinity, so I can't compare them that way for you, but I am a portrait photographer on the side and I can tell you how it compares to my calibrated wide gamut monitor. As previous poster mentioned the clarity on the Nexus 10 is amazing. Pictures look GORGEOUS. Tack sharp. I...

    Post Nexus vs Ipad 4

Oh yeah! I spaced on the Mini. That would be perfect. Kinda want to get one of those for my son for Christmas... but since hubby will want an iPad 4 sometime soon... I guess he'll just get the iPad 3 hand me down eventually.

have you considered picking up an older ipad for your son? Like an ipad2? I'm not sure how much they are going for right now, so no idea if that's reasonable. But then you could still get your Nexus :p Or just get him an iPod Touch for now? Those aren't that expensive.

That is my impression of ios. It feels old, outdated. Even my husband is starting to make "Android is looking good" noises and has been using my old Nexus 7 more and more it seems. But, it works. It's stable.

    Post Nexus vs Ipad 4

We are an Android (me) and Apple (husband) household. We have a 4 year old gadget lover. As much as it pains me to say it, there are WAY more children's apps in the Apple world :( Some really very nice ones. So he uses my husband's old Ipad 1 and an iPod Touch. Having said that, there is one...

It doesn't crash all the time for you? It would be fine if it didn't crash every time I re-open it... Sent from my Nexus 10 using XDA Premium HD app

I tether from my phone if I need internet access on my tablet when I'm away from home. But honestly when I'm away from home, I just use my phone. I don't drag my tablet around with me much. ASUS is not bad with the updates, but they never fixed the problems I personally was having. For...
