You need root in order to write the files to the theme folder, right? I tried doing it in MiXplorer and couldn't. I didn't root yet and have locked bootloader. (BTW, has someone managed to successfully use the themes on the European version?)

You can use Nova Launcher for that. Go to widgets -> Nova -> Nova Launcher Activities -> Dolby -> Dolby Main Activity et voilà!

Foobar also works very well. I'm using it along with VLC, Spotify and Youtube for my media needs, and every app works with dolby.

I have the A2017G version (B03) and have had no issues with DTTW.

Only the chinese model has a version with 6 + 128 GB. There are some people who bought the chinese model and report it functions well both in the US and Europe, but take a look at the supported bands before buying, as they differ between the models.
