You can restart your phone during stuck on htc symbol by volup+power button...or you can wait for the battery to drain completely..use windroid user toolkit to flash latest twrp recovery and i hope u had usb debugging enabled in your phone when it was last booted...

Guys...my sensation xl switched off suddenly while using and it doesnt turns on...when i turn it on,it goes in fastboot menu.. So is there anything i could do from fastboot menu to turn my phone on?? Please help, Regards.
