Post Let's get 64-bit Android to our Note 4 Exynos via a Kickstarter-campaign

Bad news guys. The campaign has been taken offline since I promote work that I will not create myself, wich apparantly is against their rules. I therefore created a new tread with a poll, wich will also allow more users to express themselves, but with less strong engagement. Please vote and...

Thread Poll:Will you still buy Samsung without a 64 bit upgrade for Note 4 Exynos?

Allright guys, As a lot of users here and all over the net are angry for not having 64 bit software on a 64 bit device, we'd like to make sure Samsung knows what we think of this. The question is plain & simple: Will you buy Samsung brand for your future devices if they do provide a 64 bit...

Post Let's get 64-bit Android to our Note 4 Exynos via a Kickstarter-campaign

That's exactly the idea behind it. 2000 views is not bad, very few backers though. Still a lot of work to do!

Post Let's get 64-bit Android to our Note 4 Exynos via a Kickstarter-campaign

Samsung can also choose to update the device itself, without releasing the bootloader code. Would be a good result too. I agree that 1000 discontent Note 4 owners might be not enough, but I wanted a realistic goal in order to encourage the backers. We'll see how Samsung reacts, and where to go...

Post Let's get 64-bit Android to our Note 4 Exynos via a Kickstarter-campaign

The discussion whether 64 bit brings extra performance or not has been held on several other places, on XDA and elsewhere. I'd like to try to keep this post about the campaign as clean as possible to enthusiast as many as possible. We will take advantage of ARMv8 architecture, both for CPU and...

Post Let's get 64 bit Android to our Tab S2 via a kickstarter campaign

A lot of unsatisfied customers could change their mind to providing a 64 bit marshmellow firmware themselves though? I realise it's a long shot, but I believe strongly that unite and gather the scattered votes, they would have to from a commercial viewpoint.

Post Let's get 64-bit Android to our Note 4 Exynos via a Kickstarter-campaign

I must say that the respons is not what I'd epected. We won't make it this way. Anybody any idea's on how to bring this under the attention? I would have loved to have posted in under the Exynos-development section, but I'm not allowed. moderator: Since timing is everything,it would be good...

Thread Let's get 64 bit Android to our Tab S2 via a kickstarter campaign

Hi all, The Exynoss 5433 chip is Samsung's first 64 bit chip, which is a direct cause of the somewhat high price of the tab S2. You can imagine my disappointment when I figured out that the Exynos 5433-version ships with a 32-bit Android, without a 64-bit update in sight. My extra buck down...

Post All Galaxy Ace 2 (gt-i8160/P/L) Jelly Bean Firmwares

How can this be deducted from a version? In addition, what are the consequences if you don't respect it and install a MG2 in a country where no update is yet available for example. Thanks in advance
