Post [Discussion] PokeMon Go Magisk Discussion Thread

I no longer use Titanium Backup. I, however, use Adaway (systemless hosts) and I added these 2 strings in its whitelist to let PoGO run without problems: *pgorelease.nianticlabs.com pgorelease.nianticlabs.com* You can also try the latest Magisk Beta that has just been released a few days ago...

Post Performance on AOSP vs MIUI

Sorry but did you record the exact time when you wait for apps to fully load on each ROM? How many (mili)seconds faster/slower were they? Does 1-2 second difference really matter that much? :p Your opinion on battery drain is confusing: First, "Battery seem to be the same on all ROM."; then...

You need to flash the file in a custom recovery so I guess yes. I'm using the module from Magisk Manager though.

Post [Discussion] PokeMon Go Magisk Discussion Thread

I do get logged out of PoGO once or twice a month. I just swipe to fully close PoGO in Recents screen, clear the its cache in Apps Details, unhide then hide it again in Magisk Manager. Finally, I can log in and play again. Sometimes I have to do the process more than once to get PoGO working...

Post Is the RN7 the exact same size/layout as any other phone [case search]

Well, that case is kinda hardcore and expensive. I'm using cheap ones (3-4 USD) for RN7 and RN4X like these. https://shopee.vn/Shockproof-with-Desktop-Stand-Back-Cover-Case-for-Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-7-7-Pro-i.91822711.2437755424...

mohdhuss Don't quote the whole OP please! ---------- Post added at 03:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:10 PM ---------- 6.2? The latest version is 6.7, isn't it? You can flash newer builds via TWRP. The update function in Settings seems broken.

Post Is the RN7 the exact same size/layout as any other phone [case search]

Sorry but why don't you just order a case specifically designed for RN7? I can find lots of these cases in my country's online stores. Most if not all of them are made in China though. It's not recommended to use other phones' cases for your RN7 as they may seem fit the phone but how about...

Post Questions about moving over to the Offical Pixel Experience(Simple/Plus) ROM?

LordBuckshot Try turning on the 'Pocket detection' option in 'Settings' > 'Display' if your ROM has it. Restart your phone to see if it helps. This trick works for many users. :D

    Post Root without unlocking bootloader?

You have to unlock bootloader in order to root. If you want Mi features, you can stay on stock MIUI or switch to MIUI-based ROMs like Xiaomi.eu.

What ROM are you using? Try looking for 'Volume Panel Timeout' or something like that in Sound Settings.
