hi, the solution is this guide. I can't finish step 12 - i get the message 'not available with custom binary'. I've now had this problem two days in a row and cannot afford to spend so much time fixing the phone. I will have to change phone. For anyone interested, this happen while using FOA1 modem

yes, thats the solution. this guide works. I've just had the problem happen two days in a row. That's it for me. Thanks Rodman for all the ROMS but I have to get a new phone, this is too much of a liability. for anyone interested, it happened with the FOA1 modem

hello, the enter sim unlock code error happened again and this time I went to do step 12 before step 11. however, under NV REBUILD it just says 'Not support in custom binary!' I'm pretty confused by the instructions - they don't seem to be in order. Can someone instruct me how to stop this...

I'm a bit confused by that step. Step 11 says to restore your lollipop rom, but step 12 requires the service menu which isn't available in lollipop or above. Have I missed something?

How can I do step 12 after I've restored my lollipop rom?

yeah, that's the one I use. I'd really like to find out why it happens in the first place though because it takes me a few hours to get everything back to normal and I just can't have this with my daily driver.

I had already tried the search this time and the last two times but alas no luck other than instructions for how to re-unlock by flashing stock. Unfortunately I looked at a comment to try another modem before I saw your reply so I had already flashed a different modem. I'm using RR-N 20170510...

hey, I've had the 'sim network unlock code' error three times now. Each time I have to flash stock from odin, flash twrp, rom and radio. It's a big pain because I can't access the network until I do. Any idea what causes this error? I'm going to have to abandon my beloved s3lte if I can't figure...

I was able to fix this by flashing another modem but now I have data but calls reboot phone. Try flashing modems
