Thanks I have a jig and I've built images this way before back when I was using my Galaxy S though they were a little easier because you didn't need the ext tools steps. I just have to get my Linux install fixed. tim

If you know how to recover the csc also that would be great I've flashed so many roms including afailed attempt at the new europe test build of 2.3.4 that failed when it got to the hidden partition. I suspect that I've overwriten both sbl's. I have a spare for testing now and a docomo clerk...

I think it would be good to include them for anyone that may have tried flashing one of the other full stock ROM's many of them include SBL. Once you've done that the phone never does the NTT DOCOMO on the screen at the begining of boot. This is how I got busted and had to pay ruku man to get...

Less than a meter I was sitting down at the time. It apparently landed just right. I've dropped my Galaxy S and never had anything happen to it except for a few scratches on the case. So now I'm back on my SC-02b for ten days or so. It's soo slow.

Sad day for me I managed to fumble my phone while sitting on the veranda last night and now have a screen that looks like a spider web. Luckily I received my jig yesterday so I was able to clear out the flash counter. One less question to answer when I go to the Docomo shop this afternoon.

I can't get this to work in odin I tried extracting the .gz file and then tar'd the result but it fails about 3/4's through on every attemp to flash.

It would be nice if you could share both the kernel and the system image so some of us early rooters could make a brief stop at near stock. I ripped most of the docomo stuff out after rooting and now I wish that I had backed it up first. tim
