Post Milestone overclock now available on Froyo

The highest I've gotten mine was 1250 with 80 vsel. Any frequency after that only makes the device completely slow and unusable. So I think it may be a hardware limitation - which would explain the variance in maximum clocks from device to device.

Post [Release] BlueGinger 2.3 UI ROM for Defy

what all in this ROM is actually in Chinese? Is it a major problem for those that don't speak/read Chinese? Very tempted to install, but I'm afraid that it would just be a time waster. Thanks in advance.

Thread Which ROM/firmware works 100% on t-mobile US EDGE/GPRS bands?

I live in an area where there is spotty 3G coverage (T-mobile US), so most of the time I'm relying on either wifi or EDGE/GPRS. I wikipedia'ed the US bands for T-Mobile, looks like 850/1700/2100. None of the UK firmwares (even the older 2.21's on 850/1700/2100MHz) allow my EDGE/GPRS connection...

Post [ROM] New stock Rom DEFY JRDNEM_U3_2.51.1 UK

mine did the same a few times after flashing to 2.51 (doh!) pulled the battery and let the usb bus on my laptop reset, fired up RSD lite and everything worked okay. tip: the screen MAY not turn on, just check the bottom section in RSD lite for a 'connected'. If the LED is on, chances are its...

Post [ROM] New stock Rom DEFY JRDNEM_U3_2.51.1 UK

unplug the phone from the usb cable and unplug the usb cable from your computer, remove the defy battery and close RSD lite. Reinsert your battery, open RSD lite again, plug the phone back in and it should say 'connected'. Won't say much other than that.

    Post [ROM] Jboogie3 BlurlessGinger(2/16/2011)

ROM works great for me, with one exception... all my sms text (incoming and outgoing) shows up black, so its unreadable on the black background. This is my first android device in quite a while - so maybe I'm missing something. I wiped dalvik/data before and after flashing the nandroid backup...

Post [Radio] Radio Image update 2.22.23.02

no problems flashing on my MT3G with my modified super D with Wes's kernel and some other tweaks. * Didn't take long to update * Noticed a substantial boost in EDGE throughput (no 3G around here) * WiFi radio seems to top out a lot higher than before * Voice quality is a notch better, more...

Post Prepare for stable 550mhz ROMs across the board!

dunno, 22 million extra cycles per second isn't anything to sneeze it. After all, these aren't high-end desktop processors. ~4.7333333% increased clock is still ~4.7333333% increased clock.

    Post I ^%%* it up

You should be upset at yourself for not reading the clear instructions that are inherent in nearly every ROM update procedure. READ the instructions. Searching forums before diving blindly into processes like these will certainly save you frustration and a bricked device. Again, blaming...
