Someone from Google on Google forums said they're working on enabling AA Wireless with non Google Pie phones. It sounds like Google has this intentionally disabled on the backend for non Google phones.
Just checking to see if anyone with the One UI Beta has been able to test to see if Android Auto Wireless is working? If not this needs to be submitted to Samsung to get added.
These phones are actually quite old and I am going to most likely replace these for them with a Nokia 3.1. That phone has Android One so it will actually get updates in a reasonable amount of time for 2 years guaranteed, unlike with Motorola's (non Android One).
I'm not sure about that setting, these are my parent's phones not mine so I can't check it at this time. If I think of it the next time I see them I will check their G4 Plays. Also the camera quality is mediocre on these phones regardless of what version it's running. If you're looking for...
I have a Galaxy S9 with a JVC wireless android auto head unit and I can confirm that the S9 does not support android auto wireless at this time. No word from Google or Samsung on the matter either.
