    Since you are moving from stock to custom it's better to proceed with a full wipe (system, data, cache and dalvik cache) in order to avoid any conflicts.

    The main issue here is that we don't know if marcomarinho is still active in PA development . Besides that the next release is Android 11, which in AOSPA's plans is Ruby release. The issues that are present in this build, if not critical, I don't think will be fixed.

    Maybe they delayed the release of this update because they're planning to release soon the Oreo update with all the necessary patches and improvements which OxygenOs 4.7.4 needed

    It's enabled the normal optimisation, if you want you can enable the advanced one which permits to reduce the standby battery drain

    I've to report that also for me the battery life seems worse with this update, maybe it's just an impression because the battery management has to update its data. As solution if the problem is not solved after one day of usage you can downgrade to 4.7.4 downloading from the official website...

    Did you change something related to kernel? Have you installed some new apps recently? If you can't resolve this battery drain try to clean cache and dalvik cache partitions using twrp. if your problem doesn't disappear try a clean flash.
