I managed to fix this. My P9 was bricked, fastboot display an erro(11) and the above when trying to flash a rom in TWRP. First download a stock rom, if possible the rom version that came with your phone, unzip update.zip to get update.app. Download app extractor and extract vendor.img...- dimsum888

mine was stuck in lg logo and always encounter "can't change to download mode" in flashtool. then i tried the other flash tool (the one that use kdz file) but always stop mid way, max was 59%, sometimes can't even get past 4%. then i tried again with flash tool and kdz, put phone in download...- dimsum888
