I have always had this same issue! Maybe its something to do with my home wifi? I am yet to test it on froyo. I am mostly connected to wifi with no sleep issue.

Whats gone wrong with this, as of today no notifications, and its hit and miss if it loads up :( I am running the apk chat version Its working again now, must have been my phone!

Any way of choosing which Apps this works with, as just had it in a weird loop on my facebook status. As I have fb notifacations sent to my mobile via texts, its put all away messages on my facebook, then as I had a new post, got sent a new text, which then triggered another away message...
