    WTF? OK, about an hour ago I installed this app, http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.simproductions.bachanger. I went in, set a Super Mario Brothers boot animation, rebooted, etc [since then iv'e rebooted at least 10 times], and it didn't work. Just now I did a reboot and it totally worked. WTF...

    Ya, search is down. Oh well. Thanks for your help! Taking tomorrow off so I might be able to work on it then. Maybe by then someone else will post and see what the problem is, or what i'm doing wrong. No idea what SDK Tools is. Will look now.

    well, i've been copying the ZVW_bootanimation.zip to the SD card, then using root explorer to move it to /system/customize/resource/. Lemme see if I can figure out how to push it using adb. Can you point the way on that one? My head hurts!
