I just had it happen as well during a non-voicemail call. Back to test 8 while it's sorted for me, as I do some of my best calls during the commute home lol.
I'm talking specifically the plastic around it. I posted a picture of a review unit with decent wear, with the wear circled in yellow. Metal wins against plastic.

Well, avoiding using the USB port, especially one as apparently fragile as this (the plastic around it), is always a plus in my book.

Fair enough. I'm fine with the angles personally. Had no idea the issue really existed until some noise on Google Plus.
Well, that and my sensitive eyes prefer fairly low brightness lol.

I'm not aware of any reason why you would have to? I never did that with the GNex, and as far as I can recall, never had any major kernel issues because of that.
More experienced kernel testers may want to chime in, however.
I have the paid version; the only thing I believe it won't do is flash the image. I use it for monitoring and stuff like that, and it works fine in that regard.
