CM Recovery needed or TWRP is fine?

I have tried to flash both with and without the check. Still fails. Should I be flashing the latest release or first? I had the impression I had to flash the first release before upgrading.

I have reverted my recovery back to TWRP 2.8.7, checked zip file sig verification, flashed, and still failed. Error is 'E:zip signature verification failed: 1'

I'm having issues installing the ROM. I'm coming from MIUI and had TWRP recovery. I have downloaded the ROM from Download(cm-12.1-20151217-UNOFFICIAL-hermes), flashed Cyanogen Recovery, performed factory reset, flashed ROM but it returns saying 'verification failed'. What did I do wrong?

Has there been any update since 9th Nov for this ROM?

while in PIE, I notice i can reposition the PIE gravity on the fly by dragging my hand to either the top, left, right (assuming i have it set at the bottom) and waiting for that light transparent semi circle to show up. my question is, how do i disable that?

i cant seem to get lockscreen shortcuts to work. i add the shortcuts, turn off/on screen, nothing there.

after flashing 22JAN, clock app still crashes when i try to set an alarm, and keyboard still stays on after screen off which causes login pattern to become tiny.

anyone else having problems with Clock? It keeps crashing when i try to set an alarm. also, with expanded desktop on, when i switch off the screen when in Messages app, and turn it back on again, the keyboard stays on while my pattern lockscreen is tiny. running 21JAN2013. anyone?

Has 2.54 with the proper boot.img been uploaded on the front page?

can someone upload and post 2.54 with the proper boot.img for the P6800? I cant seem to replace the boot.img without unzipping it on a mac.

I need some recommendation as to which ROM i should use on my Desire purely as a music player. Must be lightweight as much as possible (in terms of system apps), great battery life, and must be able to run GoneMAD music player.
