    Post [Magisk][Module] FireTV 4K Stick Add-Ons

Is the exploit still working if you allow the unit to upgrade to 6.2.7.3 before it's rooted? Otherwise how do you upgrade a rooted stick to 6.2.7.3?

Would you explain this a little further, is there a new firmware that can't be hacked?

Just search here for "factory ROM" of the version you want and load in the ZIP from TWRP like you did with the original rooting you did.

It also turns off updates and some other things. I'd say start over or just delete the ones you don't like.

Just a note on storage issues - I've found if you plan to use Kodi, you can only view videos that are smaller than what the free memory is or it will buffer (viewing a Samba share). In other words if you get your system down to around 2.3GB free space and you want to watch a 3Gb mp4 file, then...

Do you have a Chinese electronics or cell phone kiosk anywhere nearby? They sell the specificially for this purpose on Amazon but I already had one I was using on my android phone, so I just took it and a 4 port cheap USB HUB and plugged into the OTG connector and the powered hub powered the...

I've done 3 now and this last time I used a very thin roll of foil and pried slightly to bend up the metal cover so that thin tube of foil (about half the diameter of an old-school pencil lead) would slide under. Now even though I had made the tip of the foil tip bent down like a phonograph...

Post [UNLOCK][ROOT][TWRP][UNBRICK] Fire TV Stick 4K (mantis)

I had to roll up a piece of foil with a diameter slightly larger than a wood pencil lead, then make a tip on the end and bend it down like a phonograph needle, then wedge the body of that roll between the shield and the IC chip as I slid that phonograph-like needle across the top of the PC...
