Thanks for helping... It's definitely an MZ602 - Verizon 4GLTE. The device accepts flashing through Fastboot or RSD, but will not save anything. I think the partition table must be gone. There is NO Recovery. Someone else suggested this file would help even on the "wrong" device...

Is there a way to determine the condition of the partition table? At this point I don't know if normal, bigpart or none? Can I force a good partition table in from the outside using RSD or Fastboot? I have no recovery right now.

My xoom is doing all the same things, except I have no recovery. Flashing it through fastboot suceeds but has no effect. Recovery is required to use an update.zip right?
