I have found that even when auto brightness is disabled when out in the sun it boosts above the max 100% it is set too. I thought this only occured when auto brightness was enabled. It's annoying as the screen keeps changing brightness. Any ideas. Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA-Developers...

I'm looking at changing my Cid which is currently uk orange to htc generic Europe. I'm a little confused as well as my CiD do I need to change the Mid as well. I can't find any reference to which CID goes with which Mid if I need it. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I was able to flash between XEF and VOD with no issues at all didn't have to flash any pit files. Was originally a VOD unit flashed to BTU. Then to 6.01 VOD then XEF no issues at all

I'm hoping there is a bug in smartswitch in relation to the Voda firmware as other country's like Voda Germany are restoring and getting SIM csc as well not the one specified in the restor

I have a VOD Uk device I flashed to BTU so it was unbranded. With the MM coming out I plugged into smartswitch to change back. All went fine however it selects SIM csc and not VOD as it is a multi csc. Now I can't use wifi calling with this csc. In tried multiple flashes and wiping cache and...

So in other words does changing the CSC alter the region lock status say you unlock the region lock with one CSC then change firmware with another do you then have to region unlock for that region

Does Flashing with a Stock Rom leave the phone locked to the region it was purchased in or replace the region lock to the country of the firmware that was flashed. If that makes sense. Thanks for your help.

After flashing from my carrier branded firmware to BTU will I still get OTA updates. Also if I go with official firmware will it trip the Knox. Many thanks for your help Also after I have flashed what is required to change the csc. Many thanks

Im having issues whenever i install the rom i loose my radio. The imei disappears and the baseband. If i reinstall stock it comes back. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong Thanks

Whenever i try and install a Lollipop Rom on my Note 2 7100 i loose the cell radio. I have tried resurrection remix rom , cm 12.1 and both loose the radio. If i go into about there is no baseband or imei. If i reinstall cm11 or the stock samsung rom they come back. Any ideas what i am doing...
