Unplug any peripherals connected via usb and try again. This means wireless mouse, usb hub, etc.
I've found the only way to get consistent speeds with the shields wifi is to use a usb hub that has it's own power source.
When pairing my phone with the car audio the only media control I have is "Pause". The note 4 has Pause, and Shuffle. The iPhone has everything you can think of.
Is there a way to add these additional playback options? A different rom perhaps?
I'm running 1.8 and the Play Store updated to the leanback version..
I searched and found a post by Zulu on editing your build.prop on post #2. However, I can't find what I actually need to do in order to get the correct version of the Play Store. :(
Finally got it working! Thanks for you help zulu99
Here are the steps I took to get it working (just in case anyone else happened to be in my position):
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot boot twrp-multirom-20150630-UNOFFICIAL-foster.img
Once in TWRP: perform a factory reset. Reboot to...
This is what happens when I try to wipe userdata...I'm stuck at a spinning android screen.
$ fastboot -w
erasing 'userdata'...
OKAY [5565.897s]
formatting 'userdata' partition...
Creating filesystem with parameters:
Size: 496575111168
Block size: 4096
Blocks per group: 32768...
Thanks Zulu I'll try reverting to stock and starting over.
I've found something odd with fastboot. I can only issue one command during fastboot before it becomes unresponsive.
Ex.
1. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
2. fastboot flash system system.img (unresponsive over usb)
It's at this...
While attempting to get this rom on my Nvidia Shield Pro I'm now stuck in a bootloop.
I've flashed twrp and the rom. I've erased user data but it looks like it tries to run a script then reboots.
Can anyone help me fix this?
