That' may address washed out color's issue, but I doubt there'll be any solution for color shift to blue when tilting the phone, you'll have to get used to it.

I also felt same way, Pixel 2 XL screen doesn't hold a candle to Note 8 screen, not sure how Google has the audacity to price equal to Note 8 with that weak hardware, my 2 XL is going back

I played with it yesterday, phone is nice but doesn't feel like a premium hardware specially when compared to Note 8 or V30. Minus the pure Android and Camera - it's like many chinese branded $400 - $500 phone.
