OH ****! Thanks guys! This thread saved my phone! I have a green lens MB525. I flashed all the MB525 roms possible. Now, to recover it, just flashed the Nordic Retail DFP 231 of the MB526. I just to test now if camera and everything is working.... but it's alive again! thanks!

Solved! I'm here to tell that I finally solved my problem! I'm very happy! After motorola guys telling me that there was no solution, that I would need to replace the mother board for price bigger than I payed for the original mobile phone, I finally solved this issue. I tested one by one...

And with this behavior I showed on the videos of this thread first posts, you think I must use MacGeyver method to power on my phone? Why so much people said that Defy has a separated boot area that turns it theorically unbrickeable?

Another point. O don't think the MacGyver method will help me, right? Because Battery is ok... the message "SW update" on the screen I think is made by phone and not by RSD Lite....

Thanks for helping. I hope I'm doing the correct process, had you seen both videos? I tried now without SD card... no way... same result.

A dumb question. Do I need to remove the SD card before flashing?

Another point, at the end of flashing the last dbf file, my battery was in 78%. I have a friend's Defy I use to charge it.

Just flashed now the defyplus-rtgb-2310-sbf-7 sbf file.. Oh... and it is still not powering on. All the process I did exactly as I showed in the two videos. ps: You said I'm on the bootloader, but how can I be on it if I do not have pushed Power + volume UP/DOWN?

I am with exactly the same problem. No bootloader, and SU UPDATE showing while the process occurs, and PASS at the end. But once finished, can't turn on the phone. I have a Defy+ ( and other Defy who helps charging battery). Do you think I need to try MacGyver method?
