Post [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][perry] LineageOS 14.1 for Moto E4 Qualcomm

I've been monitoring this thread for a while, and since it's been 2.5 months since last update, I had wondered the same thing as the other poster had, whether LnOS on E4(Qual) had gone zombie. I went and checked on squid2's forum posting, and saw that he's still active. But he's also...

    Post Blur_Version.26.11.51.sperry_sprint.en.US

Would you mind doing the same for the retail (XT1768) variant? Flashing back to stock didn't help in my case. I got the same "status 7" error as another person here. I looked at the update's updater-script, but not being conversant with the particular script language I didn't want to take the...

Post OT discussion thread for E4 snapdragon roms

amarc78, Sorry to see you pulling up stakes. I just want to say that a similar event happened to me here a while back, and is why I'm no longer active on XDA. The mod deleted my posts, not because they're against XDA rules, but because the other guy reported them as defamatory to his...

    Post [ROM][Qualcomm] Moto E4 Stock 7.1.1 Unmodified & Debloated[10-30-2017]

amarc78, sorry for the late response. I flashed the Perry_retail_7.1.1_NPQ26.69-41_cid50 ROM (from https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto%20E4/Stock/) onto my XT1768 E4, and took a Nandroid after first boot. I hope that suffices. File size is 984MB. Let me know your upload link...

    Post [ROM][Qualcomm] Moto E4 Stock 7.1.1 Unmodified & Debloated[10-30-2017]

Amarc, unfortunately my E4 is no longer "virgin," with MagiskSU installed along with some other bits. Regardless, wouldn't it work to debloat/optimize ROMs from the depo? https://firmware.center/firmware/Motorola/Moto%20E4/Stock

    Post [ROM][Qualcomm] Moto E4 Stock 7.1.1 Unmodified & Debloated[10-30-2017]

Thanks to amarc78 for the work. Debloated stock ROMs are best for CDMA carriers like Sprint & VZW. I'm hoping one for the unlocked retail variant (XT1768) will make its way soon. Looking forward to see the list expands.

    Post [Discontinued][ROM][InvictaOS v4.15][XT16xx][MotoG4/Plus][7.1.2_r29][11-17-17]

First, thanks to Silesh for the great ROM. Second, I've just tried the hotspot at 5GHz, and it seems to stay at 2.4GHz, ch 6. Can anyone confirm that hotspot mode actually works at 5GHz on their G4+ (XT1644)?

Post Marshmallow & Nougat (AOSP/CM/Lineage) for Nook HD/HD+ (& Tablet)

    >Following the update to the LN newest build ovation-ota-NOF26W.170226 my HD+ started to have intermittent but frequent problem connecting to WiFi I recall having this problem with the Jan build, but not the Feb build. It is more sluggish coming out of sleep. Display rotation takes about half a...

Post Best Nook HD+ Daily Driver in 2017?

    >Reading about the various issues with ROMs beyond KitKat is sort of disheartening Not sure why you're disappointed, as the Nook (HD and HD+) has far outlived most of its peers. It's like criticizing a dog that can't sing well, when we should celebrate the wonder that it can sing at all. I'd...

Post Marshmallow & Nougat (AOSP/CM/Lineage) for Nook HD/HD+ (& Tablet)

    >We have no microphone (right?) It does have a mic, hence my decision to go to nano, which entails REPIT. It's a big deal to be able to say words vs having to type them out. Moreover, I wanted to get rid of the deadweight factory ROM and reclaim the space anyway. Result: More space, more...

Post Marshmallow & Nougat (AOSP/CM/Lineage) for Nook HD/HD+ (& Tablet)

NE0HP: I flashed the 3.1.0. The new version works with REPIT. jernyx: Thanks for the info, which I've verified. It simplies the process a bit. I've updated the guide above.

Post Marshmallow & Nougat (AOSP/CM/Lineage) for Nook HD/HD+ (& Tablet)

Thanks for the corrections. I edited as needed. However, I'm sticking with twrp 3.0.1 as that's the version available in amaces' folder, aside from 3.0.3. Hopefully, amaces will still look in at this thread at some point and correct some of the obvious bugs/deficiencies mentioned here and...

Post Marshmallow & Nougat (AOSP/CM/Lineage) for Nook HD/HD+ (& Tablet)

I'm hoping the below will help somebody. I wanted to enlarge /system partition to accommodate a larger gapps, as well as reclaim space from the useless (400+MB) system image. I used REPIT for this. You need two files, REPIT info...

Thread Does Le S3 (X522 US) have 4G+3G dual standby?

Can someone confirm that the Le S3 (US version X522) have 4G+3G (not 4G+2G) dual standby? Specifically, I need to know whether an AT&T SIM in the 2nd SIM slot will work on standby. AT&T dropped 2G, so 3G standby is needed. I would appreciate firsthand experience if possible. Thanks in advance.

Post Marshmallow & Nougat (AOSP/CM/Lineage) for Nook HD/HD+ (& Tablet)

My thanks to Amaces for his continuing work on the Nook series, and Happy Holidays to everyone here, those who still remain. I've just clean installed cm_ovation-ota-NMF26Q.161222 onto a Nook HD+. One apparent bug I've yet to see reported is that the system button menu is turned vertical...
