    Solved!! December update I've solved this battery drain by removing all beta apps, then Google play services stopped consuming a lot of battery at nigh and the rest of the day... Did this in the December update and also turned off nearby in Location. Now I'm getting 5.45 sot with heavy use.

    I had the same issue(receive calls & sms, but can make them out or activate data), got a replacement SIM(from carrier) and all solved. :D Android is getting awesome! ...Who can relate?

    For me its the best battery life Ive ever had, after this update im getting doubled B-life :victory: i dont know why but its up to 8hrs SOT(wifi, GPS, Instagram, Snapchat, WS, Spotify, 50% brightness...). 3 days with this update...

    Need to flash twrp, but at least in this rom(8.1) it wasn't needed. I've successfully tried & everything seems good.

    Im having the same issue, you just advance wiped system & flashed the image again via adb, or run the 9 steps Solved: needed to flash vendor.img, after that it booted up ...what a newbie :D

    Posible solution I had the same issue installing the Oct Sec pack and guess what helpme out... Id forgot this beautiful step :D "On 7.1.2 and above you'll also need to boot into TWRP recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache."
