I have the exact same issue with my Shield. hangs up at the start screen, with no buttons displayed, with that giant black spot in the background.

Strong Running strong so far. Haven't run into anything of "note" yet...LOL see what I did there!

Thanks for the information. I am having this same issue myself. but I need dude to get to this "known" issue sooner than that. I paid for pro version and I need to uninstall a bunch of stuff. I might uninstall xPrivacy, then install it back when I'm done.

Clean There are two ROMz out right now but I feel that this one is the best. Nice, clean, simple; and without all of the over the top themeing. Thanks for the DeOdexed stock ROM.

Current Setup I don't have any items what so ever on my Home screen. Just a wallpaper (I'm setting up to use either UCCW or Zooper Pro widgets). I blacked out the notification bar/pull downs and gave them red highlights. matches perfectly with my Dante RED Spigen Neo Hybrid case and Montar...

IDK, but i do know that I said no to all of that crap (I hate automated anything), but it never disappeared. So, I said yes so it would stop annoying me, and I have had root since release day with no issues what so ever. Maybe, I'm lucky, like when I had a release day Xbox 360 that lasted me 3.5...

Dang, I actually do regret buying this device for the amount i did...oh well when the Note 4 comes out I'm going to be selling this one and buying off contract. the price difference should put me at upgrade price.
