Got mine from the local official Samsung Store in Buenos Aires (near Galerias Pacifico), extremely helpful service.

If you can get hold of it i would give it a try, the firmware has no bloat except for the preloaded microsoft office crap, be advised thou, that it doesn't have samsung pay.

For the record.. Note8 model sold by Samsung in Argentina (SM-N950F CSC ARO/ARO/ARO) gets the unlock option exactly after 7 days of opening the box ( 168 hous to be exact)

Thanks, does that mean that we cannot reboot the phone for full seven days. Or does the phone keep a counter of the number of hours elapsed and when that counter reaches 7 days the OEM Unlock option is enabled?

So we have to wait 3/7/10/whatever days, do you know if the counter is reset if you reboot the phone, or how time is accounted for (eg. waiting 7 days with rhe phone off would work?)

Anyone with the note8 model sold by Samsung in Argentina (SM-950F CSC code ARO/ARO/ARO) get the OEM Unlock option after 7/10 days. I had mine for about 4 days and its not there yet. I also read that depending the model the OEM Unlock option may not be there yet the bootloader would be unlocked...

Anyone has a good guide on how to get rid of the irritating and awful boot animation or at least disable the sound ?

You sure it's related to SMS, if i block it with Amplify Chrome starts crashing all the time.
