Unfortunately yes. I'm running Nova and it still laggy. Mainly when going from one app to another. It will just hang there as if it has damn idea what it's going to do next.- elidog1

Only regret is touchwiz. The lag I get some times is pretty aggrevating. A phone this powerful shouldn't have the lag this thing has.- elidog1

I dont think you'll be sorry. I have the metal slate and silver plus a bounce case. The metal slate is my daily driver and has saved me on several occasions. One of wich was when at a wrestling tournament my phone got knocked out of my hand and went sailing several feet onto a hardwood gym...- elidog1
