Post Recovery mode access on Z2 wifi tablet

I also had the issue that TWRP didn't start up on my tablet, no LED lights, no key-combinations. I described it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=83555173&postcount=29 . Maybe my solution could help you?

    Post [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.4.0 - castor/_windy (Sony Z2 Tablet)

The Sony Emma tool installed Android 6 on the tablet, and NUTs couldn't be installed there. In an older post I saw that it was only supporting Android 5. Anyway... But I didn't want to give up and then I found this post...

    Post [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.4.0 - castor/_windy (Sony Z2 Tablet)

Sorry for the delay, was on vacation.... I was on Lineage in the beginning, but when the TWRP update didn't work I tried the Sony Emma tool which reverted the device to the latest firmware, an old Android. So yes, I am on stock OS...

    Post [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.4.0 - castor/_windy (Sony Z2 Tablet)

Thanks for the great description! As ADB was working I neglected to verify in the Windows Device Manager if the Fastboot drivers were also ok. And they were not... With the help of Zadig I then solved this driver-issue. Now fastboot was working fine and I could flash recovery with success. Only...

    Post [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.4.0 - castor/_windy (Sony Z2 Tablet)

I tried with the Sony-Emma Tool which of course removed Carbon ROM - but left the bootloader as it was. So ADB / Fastboot is still not working. How did all th others that were involved solve the corrupt bootloader?

    Post [RECOVERY][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.4.0 - castor/_windy (Sony Z2 Tablet)

I am also coming from Carbon ROM and it is really not working... I now tried via Fastboot to install another older TWRP version. But the tablet is not reacting on 'adb reboot bootloader' (it shows the device for 'adb devices'). All it shows is a black screen and the blue LED light. Any idea how...

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] [NOUGAT] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia Z2 Tablet (Castor / Castor_windy)

Lineage ROM -> Cool! Do you have any prefered ROM for the future? If you think that Carbon would have a brighter future then I would take the effort to switch :)

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] [NOUGAT] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia Z2 Tablet (Castor / Castor_windy)

By the way, when I moved yesterday from stock sony-image to this one - for WLAN - I was scared to also wipe the system partition (data partition had to be wiped - otherwise the rom will not install...). Everything went fine with this ~dirty flash. And until now everthing is running perfectly...

    Post [ROM][FINAL][7.1] CyanogenMod 14.1 for Xperia V

Just installed latest nightly from today. Works great so far. Only video recording with built in photo app & permissions dialogue (both mentionend earlier) are not working. Thanks for the constant effort and looking forward to 7.1 :)

    Post [ROM][V][UB][L] CyanogenMod 12.1 - Neo's Homebuilds [DISCONTINUED]

Hello WhiteNeo , thanks so much for the ROM. Since day one of your ROM I am using it and I dirty-flashed every version the day it came out. I always worked great. Some weeks ago it became really slow with starting apps - I formated everything (also system) and now everything runs smooth again...

Horray, I did it! After a long time of thinking and reading I changed the size of the storage partition by using this great guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58174842#post58174842 . Thanks colonel_lp and bsined. Only I left out the steps 3 & 6. Everything went super easy...

Hi, sorry, I have non of the apps installed. Did you install / update the "Android System WebView"? Regarding GPS: I now did some testing and in the logs (filtered for 'Location') this seems to be a candidate: 06-21 13:23:45.806 E/LocSvc_ApiV02(768): W/virtual loc_api_adapter_err...

    Post [ROM][V][UB][L] CyanogenMod 12.1 - Neo's Homebuilds [DISCONTINUED]

Chrome is working as usual for me on the latest build. But I am curious how GPS works, as I also had issues with GPS lately. My theory is that any update of the Google Play Services or cleaning the cache forces GPS to get an initial fix which could need up to 5 - 10 minutes. But then also...
