I believe this is the same way which worked for me. However, does not work a second time, neither for a fingerprint #2 nor fingerprint #1 after having it deleted again.

Once a fingerprint is successfully saved unlocking with fingerprint does automatically work, as you set it up in the sub-menu 'lock screen' of the settings menu. It is always applied in addition to PIN or password.
