well before i found this thread i got in a huge argument with spring on the phone, no one had any idea what i was talking about. eventually, after 10 calls, and 3 hang ups, i ended up with the international team, and they ordered me 2. however they are backordered. I then called all the sprint...

    Post [ROM][4.2.2][Aug 6th] Slim Bean-d2spr [build 8]

alright, so i'm getting a wicked screen flicker with this latest update. the other issue i've had for a while now is as time goes on, the home button is like stuck double, I hit it, and it goes to the recent apps. and if I click the menu button it goes to google now, so what that tells me is...

Post [ROM][Nightly][ICS] Team Eos US 4G Nightlies (Stingray4G/MZ602)

Security is security, and a hidden SSID will be in my opinion slightly more secure than a broadcasted one. However security really comes from the encryption method you use. Everything can be broken, and I mean everything. I personally run AES CCMP + TKIP + PPK, with key rotation. I also expire...

Post [lock and remove thread requested]

I have not tried, but I guess it doesn't really matter since fastboot flashing is easy :)

Post Xoom ICS & Cisco Access Points

We found a solution on the other thread. It appears that the new broadcom drivers are now 802.11 certified and there appears the be a bug that causes 802.11 draft APs achieve data decent data rates. So here are the 3 fixes. 1. Buy a new AP 2. Disable you're mcs rates and lose 802.11n 3. Pray...

35mbits over 35mbits. I have a symetrical fiber connection that gives me somewhere between 35-45mbit download, and 35-40mbit upload.

    Post [Q] Xoom Network Issue

YES! I'm not crazy. I bet you have cisco access points. I posted about this on another thread. It appears that ICS and that particular access point has a major bug. I have one at home. I posted on motorola here https://forums.motorola.com/posts/f3146e9b0a?start=1#comment562091

Post Xoom ICS & Cisco Access Points

I'm running Cisco IOS Software, C1250 Software (C1250-K9W7-M), Version 12.4(25d)JA, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) What I mean by 35/35 is thats what my internet is at home. But any speed test will show the issue if it is a cisco issue. You'll see that download is terrible, and upload is normal.

Thread Xoom ICS & Cisco Access Points

This thread is only for people running a Cisco Access point, preferably a Aironet 1200. I currently have the 3g/4g version, and this behavior seems exist on all ICS builds I've tried. I started a thread on Motorola's forums here. I have 35/35 at home, and on pre-ics builds I get about 25/25...

Post [ROM][Nightly][ICS] Team Eos US 4G Nightlies (Stingray4G/MZ602)

I am currently experiencing a wifi issue. Its only when connecting to Cisco Access points, and it only happens with the eos build. These are the steps I went though. I flashed 3.2, any build, and wifi, both download and upload works. I build ICS from source, flash it, and wifi works...

I also have the dictionary problem. I came from 16 with it, did a full wipe, even the fastboot oem lock and unlock, flashed 20, and still the same problem.
