Anyone tried rooting with http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772 ? Seems to work with g pad 7.0 with lollipop according to a few posts, wonder if it will work with v500.

Screen not as yellow anymore. So, as of android 5.0.1 coming to my device, I immediately noticed that my screen wasn't as yellow anymore. Anyone else noticed any screen related difference?

Location isn't working at all, otherwise everything works great! Camera and bluetooth works and lollipop is veeeery smooth compared to lollipop :cowboy:

So G3 and G2 is confirmed. G pad is soon 12 months old, if lg don't update the g pad v500 to lollipop I will never buy a lg device again (except a nexus).

seriously, another thread about this? Just use the lg mobile support tool, then you will go back 100% to stock. You can find the support tool at lg g pad support page at lg.com, is it really that hard to read the "outdated guides"? roflmao :cowboy:

Camera works great for me and always has, do a clean flash and it should work if your device isn't faulty :cowboy:
